Bradley Center is hard to miss. Located downtown, around the corner from the Mecca, the Bucks' earlier home, and occupying more than a city block, the arena's red-and-pink granite exterior is visible from several blocks away. Inside are two glass-enclosed atria with columns fashioned from the same granite used for the building's facade.
The Center accommodates 18,600 attendees for basketball, 17,800 for hockey and up to 20,000 for concerts, with a total area of 550,000 square feet. Design emphasis was placed on flexibility-for the fans comfort, the designers increased the space between the rows; but the increased seating capacity and extra seating space in the three-level building was not added to the detriment of sightlines.
Concessions
Milwaukee is best known for sausages and beer, both of which are well represented at the center. Fans also enjoy the pizza, grilled burgers, and chicken. Miller products are widely available, as well as local favorites Old Style and Leinenkugel's. After the game, Major Goolsby's is a block away. This sports bar, popular with fans and players, once was known as the Liquid Locker Room of the NBA.
Parking
Although Bradley Center has no on-site parking, plenty is available in the area. Some street parking is available. After games, traffic moves fairly smoothly.
