Arrowhead Stadium Information

Arrowhead Stadium
1 Arrowhead Dr. • Kansas City, MO 64129

Arrowhead is undoubtedly one of the finest facilities in the NFL, whose fans fill it consistently, which has helped produce a distinct home-field advantage for the Chiefs. Since 1992, no NFL team has a better regular season home winning percentage than the Chiefs!

Weather
The Chiefs have played few snowy games at Arrowhead, but be prepared for cold, as the wind often swirls around inside the stadium.

Parking
Arrive early if you don't want to park in Outer Mongolia. Although the Chiefs offer on-site parking for 26,000 vehicles, the situation has drawn heat from fans who were used to the days when the Chiefs attracted 40,000, not 80,000. Still, it's better than most NFL cities—in fact, only the Meadowlands offers more. The other reason to come early is that Chiefs fans love tailgating parties. Gates open three and a half hours before the game, and the tailgaters are there and waiting.

  • Parking is $20
  • Gates open 3 ½ hours prior to kickoff
  • One vehicle per parking space
  • All vehicles pulling a trailer will be charged for an extra parking space and must park in the grass
  • If your vehicle is too large to fit in the 8'X16' space in the lot, you must park in the back of the lot or in the grass
  • Gold Parking Lots: Lot E, M & Portions of Lot B, H (And a portion of D for VIP D parking near the Pavilion)
  • Red Parking Lots: Lot A-D, F-H, J
  • Cash non-reserved parking: Lot L, N

    Cuisine

The best food is outside before the game. Arrive early and sample some of the tailgating fare. Most of those tending pits are happy to share their food with appreciative lovers of barbecue. Inside, it's typical ballpark fare.
